MY INTERIOR DESIGN STORY
My style as an interior designer is simple and contemporary. With functionality and space management being the main essence of design. I believe in the functionality of most items in a space.
Simple, fun to lounge and play around .
Also, the use of bright , interesting colours define me.
Either on walls or home accents.
I can also define my style as eclectic- The fusion of nearly all styles of interior design.
I believe vintage and modern interior design do have a meeting point which is clearly depicted in most of my works .
Ergonomics: is a principle I work with in every design. Everything must be comfortable. The settee and sofas, occasional chairs, beds and beddings, pillows and towels . The use of plush silk, jacquards, tarfetta and 100% cotton and leather materials define our interior design game.
Budget: some people ask me sometimes " are you cheap to consult with?" I say point blank no. But i tell them I can be anything else but cheap.
"I can be affordable if your budget is reasonable but I'm definitely more affordable than my contemporaries".
I work with client's budget to help them achieve their dream homes.
Products: I have top of the range products that can get to you in no time when ordered. From bespoke orders to the one chosen from catalogues. I also have some readily available. Like this fabulous dining which is on 50% off from my store.
Exclusivity : My primary believe is that no home should look same except by client's request. Although I have designed quite a number of homes , I must say that none look same. Every style is built upon the uniqueness and personality of each individual or families I have worked with. And attention paid to every detail in their request.
Things I love working with :
White furniture
Crystals
Carpets and rugs
Gloss wood finish
Satin and silk embroidered curtain fabrics
Tassels
Damask , houndstooth and chevron patterns
Arch and tripod floor lamps
Vintage clocks
Acient Greek , Italian and Egyptian figurines
High pile rugs
Bang and olufsen appliances
I believe the world has come to a point where technology has become vital in everything created in the last decade hence the need for integration of automation in our homes to create a synergy between all appliances, our security systems and our multimedia and lighting . That; to me defines the very essence of calling a place a home.
