Refreshing the home

We all know that feeling we get when we haven't been at home for a while . Our home has been put under lock for a while and we need some spark to revive it. This is an everyday situation in some homes even as it hadn't been locked up. Damp smell, lack of natural light amongst many other things. One of my many experiences as an interior designer was working with a couple who had a small apartment but wanted to refresh their space. They were concerned about aesthetics and all. My own concern was natural light and increased ventilation. Sometimes, the reason you hate your space is beyond your settee, rug or other accents . There are so many things one must consider when decorating a living space. However,the main purpose of that room is where i start concentration. some houses have just one living room which serves as the family room and the guest area as well. while some have between two and five ;depending on the size of the house.
