Infusing yellow
If you are skeptical about having yellow on your walls, another way to infuse this in your space could be by exploring with accents like rugs, figurines, lamps and occassional furniture pieces. A single seat sofa, bookshelves, ottomans, scatter cushions are all brilliant, subtle ways to rock this colour.
In this living room, the single seat, scatter cushion and ottoman all take us from the melancholic scale black had brought upon the space through design. Without doing too much, this room has proven itself sophisticated, opulent, cheery, warm and unstereotyped.
