WHAT IF YOU'VE GOT A SMALL SPACE?

Decorating a small space can appear challenging especially if you love aesthetics. seeing beautiful items in  showrooms which you cant have because of space factors could be heartbreaking.  Im here to help with tips which i think might help even if you are to consult an interior decorator for help; you wont be left hanging!

  • use floating shelves to show off a collection of accessories like candle holders, vases as well as picture frames. This leaves accessories with a space of their own so they dont lie around thereby creating cluster.
  • Embrace open storage: if you dont have all the space you want for storing items in kitchen or bathrooms, you may apply open storage methods. creating cabinets may take up most of the space while open shelves or racks leave you with all the space you need as well as create a fun look
  • use a mirror: using a mirror in a small space creates an illusion of a bigger space. it also reflects light in a dark, cozy room.
  • Make your tv wall the focal point of the space. paint in in a bright colour and place a media bench or console table beneath the tv wall. this could take up other media accessories such as the home theatre or your dstv decoder amongst others.
  • For your clear glass table, use clear glass tops as this visually expands the space. hang little artwork pieces and use minimal lighting.
  • Hang curtains from the ceiling
  • Good lighting can completely transform a room and it doesnt have to be a chandelier. Buy lamps to place on end tables ,nightstands and sidetables. floor lamps should be positioned to light up dark corners

I hope this has been of use. nice weekend y'all.
